I just attended a Bar Mitzvah held in an underground parking lot. Whoever was there will not return to their routine. There we experienced unforgettable moments when a young man read from the holy Torah amidst sirens, connecting to his identity in the deepest possible way, to the root of everything,
In my humble opinion, there is no one who did not both cry and laugh this week, did not pray with deep feeling, did not change. So we are not returning to our routine but to a a new and different reality that is elevated and much improved. Baruch HaShem, we have forged ahead.
